NEW YORK — YCD Multimedia, a developer and provider of smart digital media solutions for businesses, and Matrox Graphics, a leading manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions for professionals, has announced a technological partnership to develop an innovative, Ultra High Definition (UHD) decorative display wall solution for digital signage applications.
YCD MuVi Wall uses Matrox M9140 and M9120 graphics cards, each of which can transmit full HD (1920×1080 at 60Hz) resolution video per output. Each card can connect up to four screens, and when multiple cards are integrated with YCD MuVi Wall, a maximum resolution of nine screens at full HD with a total resolution of 5760×3240 or 17280×1080 can be achieved. The YCD MuVi Wall video wall supports three, four, six and nine digital messaging screens of any size, in any matrix.
The solution is particularly suitable for public areas where clear and sharp content over giant screens is a must. The YCD MuVi Wall has a simple-to-use and intuitive user interface designed for non-technical users. In addition, dynamic content can be changed at the press of a button, giving viewers the sensation that the content is “alive” and up-to-date at all times, without having to spend thousands of dollars producing complex content in order to achieve the same result.
