Visser Digital Media has announced the acquisition of Campus Link College Marketing from Huntington Capital, a San Diego-based mezzanine fund.
CampusLink installs and operates interactive multimedia information centers positioned in the student unions of more than 25 of the largest universities in the United States. These on-campus centers feature Internet kiosks, as well as digital and static signage platforms, and offer college marketers and advertisers a simple and effective way to deliver their messages to college students.
The acquisition combines Visser’s CampusVision, one of the largest and fastest growing college digital signage communities, with CampusLink’s strategic campus platform. The combined platforms will focus on providing a more comprehensive experience for college students. The companies will focus on providing campus-wide messaging, emergency alert broadcast notifications and ad-generating resources. The CampusVision program currently offers two business models, including ad-funded and subscription programs.
