Sports Retail Networks, a venture of EDR Media LLC, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Worldwide Golf Shops digital signage network and will merge it with The Golf Network – the country’s largest network of digital displays serving golf retailers across the country. SRN acquired the network from Digipulse LLC, an Orange County, Calif., digital media company that has run the WGS network for more than three years. Digipulse will continue to support the network for TGN.
Worldwide Golf Shops operates moe than 40 retail golf stores nationwide and includes Roger Dunn Golf Shops, The Golf Mart, Van’s Golf Shops and Golfer’s Warehouse.
“WGS and its flagship stores represent a significant expansion of The Golf Network,” says Peter Vrettas, EDR Media’s CEO. “We have eyed WGS for some time and are thrilled to add its high quality and high volume stores to our network.”
