Symstream announces new vice-president

MELBOURNE, Australia — Symstream Technology Group Ltd. announced Jan. 25 that Michael Hudson has joined the company as vice president and managing director of Symstream Americas.
Hudson, a recognized authority in the retail segment of cash dispense and ATM technology, has most recently served as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Tidel Engineering Inc., a global manufacturer of ATMs, and NCR Easypoint LLC, an NCR Business Unit that acquired Tidel’s ATM assets in 2006.
Prior to that, Mr. Hudson was CEO of Money Quik, a 1,000-unit independent ATM network in California, U.S.A., and served as the division manager for 7-Eleven convenience stores in New York and Washington, D.C.
Hudson has been active in the ATM industry, serving as a member of the board of directors for both the ATM Industry Association and the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, as well as serving on both associations’ executive committees. Hudson provides Symstream with tremendous experience in the ATM industry and the convenience retail industry, both of which are seen as the most directly impacted by Symstream applications.
