Stereografix, a 3D hardware, software and content consultancy service, plans this week to officially launch at Screenmedia Expo 2010, May 5-6 in London.
Company founder Saif Chaudhry said he formed the company to address a need for content to match the fast rate of 3D display technology growth. Prior to launching Stereografix, Chaudhry worked as CGI senior designer on a high-ticket 3D simulator project for the UK Ministry of Defence. Prior to this he was involved in 3D animation for the advertising sector.
Stereografix has already attracted interest from the commercial, advertising and education sectors, according to a company release. A channel partner deal with leading lenticular technology providers has generated interest from exhibition contractors and point of sale specialists since it allows for autostereoscopic 3D imaging on flat screens.
