ESSEX, U.K. — Remote Media will unveil its signagelive desktop edition at ISE 2009, which takes place Feb. 3-5 at Amsterdam’s RAI.
The new signagelive desktop edition will provide businesses a solution for delivering rich media content over a standard fixed or mobile Internet connection to individuals, teams and departments anywhere in the world.
Using the signagelive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, administrators can login from a standard Web browser and upload, schedule and distribute a comprehensive range of media content including video, images, Web pages, RSS feeds and IPTV streams. The signagelive layout creator enables pixel-accurate multi-zone layouts to be designed online in any combination of style and templates required. Playlists of layouts and media can be created and scheduled for playback at any date and time required, allowing for key announcements to be preset ready for use on a required date and time and for a set period of time.
Users can be grouped into any configuration required to allow for tailored media and layouts to be scheduled and distributed to specific departments, teams and sites. Comprehensive live monitoring and reporting tools provide total control of every connected user, enabling 100 percent compliance.
Standard reports and dashboards detail when users receive the content and when they have viewed the scheduled media. The signagelive desktop edition can be configured to operate as a screensaver or as a live alert where a taskbar notification alerts the user to the arrival of new content ready to be viewed.
