Signagelive announces distribution, training partnerships

ESSEX, U.K. — Henlow-based Mentor Distribution has signed a distribution agreement with signagelive, for its SaaS-based digital signage software. Mentor Distribution is already a distributor of the NEC range of LCD panels.
“After researching the digital signage market, we feel that the Software as a Service platform that signagelive provides enables us to offer a complete best-of-breed hardware/software solution to our resellers,” said Tom Thornton, sales manager of Mentor.
signagelive has also teamed up with training company Nvest to offer both on-site and Web-based training courses. The courses are designed to cover all aspects of the signagelive platform from display configuration through content deployment.
The partnership adds another layer of support that can be offered to clients via the distribution channel, enabling resellers to provide the service without the worry of carrying out the training.
“We see digital signage as a massive growth area in 2009 and we are happy to provide training on the signagelive platform as it will enable the clients to get the most out of the product, which in turn will lead to repeat sales for the resellers,” said Pip Thomas of Nvest.
