Online digital signage software solution provider signagelive recently announced it will be featuring an “Apple Store”-themed stand and cross vendor product strategy at this year’s Screenmedia Expo Europe, May 5-6 in Earls Court, London.
The company says its Stand F10 will have a simple, all-white appearance featuring a central “Genius Bar” station where visitors can watch live demonstrations of the signagelive SaaS web-based digital signage platform with systems from an array of other vendors, including Advantech, IAdea, Imagesound, Philips and Viewsonic. Registered visitors to the stand will be entered into a daily prize drawing to win a free 10-inch display with a one year signagelive license.
A stand highlight will be a back wall demonstration area comprising the latest Philips LCD displays with smart insert module. Advantech’s digital signage player hardware, pre-loaded with signagelive, will be mounted on the back of the displays to create a cost-effective, easy-to-service, all-in-one digital signage offering. Two 52-inch Philip’s LCD portrait screens will frame a 65-inch landscape display in an example of how digital signage is presenting new display possibilities. The central screen will be utilized to run a live demonstration of the signagelive platform with the portrait screens reinforcing the central demonstration with supporting synchronized content.
A demonstration of the latest feature-enhanced signagelive V3 will show how using signagelive is easier than ever, the company says. The stand will also emphasise Remote Media’s support for the latest SMIL non-PC devices, such as the IAdea XDS-101 10-inch Digital Signboard, using the signagelive virtual player.
Also on the stand will be a full background audio system provided by Imagesound, with a live PA system for fading down the background audio when running the demonstrations. A specially produced booklet for the Screenmedia Expo will be available as a takeaway, and will include all the products and services from Remote Media partners shown on the stand.
Signaglive said on the company website that it is also excited to be showing signagelive 3D in conjunction with Magnetic 3D, enabling playback of 3D content on special autostereoscopic (“3D without glasses”) displays.
