LONDON — Minicom and Remote Media are jointly deploying a digital signage application stretching from the signagelive ceiling to Minicom’s booth at Screen Media Expo in London. The signagelive booth will host media players containing signagelive software and Minicom distribution systems. A CAT5 cable will then run across the convention floor all the way to the Minicom’s booth, where displays fitted with Minicom receivers will display the high-definition content.
Jason Cremins, chief executive of Remote Media, said the joint application will show how proper components can both significantly improve digital signage networks and lower costs.
Minicom will also present three of its industry leading products at the show: the award winning DS Vision 3000 distribution system, DS Vision HDMI and the brand new VGA extender.
