LONDON — BB’s Coffee & Muffins, the UK’s largest shopping centre café operator, has selected Pixel Inspiration, the digital signage agency, to trial a digital signage solution at its latest outlet in the Westfield Centre, London.
The installation consists of three Planar iS40 integrated digital signs positioned above the counter, enabling BB’s to update menus, meal deals and pricing either centrally or locally.
“Scheduling content enables BB’s to display menu items and promotions to appear throughout the day, stimulating impulse purchases which might not have previously been considered,” said Nikk Smith, technical director, Pixel Inspiration. “BBs also have the flexibility to control the menu visibility from a central location, which means they can be sure certain promotions are being advertised to customers.”
The screens display full menu information alongside special meal deals and promotions, which rotate throughout the day to coincide with specific meal times. Because each screen can operate independently, customers are also exposed to a much wider product range than is possible using static screens.
