Odysii to take onsite messaging to digital signage

NEW YORK — Odysii Inc., a global provider of marketing-intelligence software for onsite messaging, announced plans to expand its global operations to pursue opportunities within the digital signage and onsite-messaging markets in the U.S.
The company has established a U.S. headquarters office in New York, hired key management team members and is actively working to introduce its flagship solution to banking, retail, hospitality, and restaurant companies nationwide. The company is backed by Benchmark Capital and Giza Ventures.
In June, Odysii named Jeff Gattis president of U.S. operations. He joined the company from Microsoft, where most recently he was responsible for launching Surface, the world’s first multi-touch surface computer for the financial services, retail, and hospitality markets.
“Odysii has been working successfully with Fortune 2000 companies around the globe for years to deliver onsite campaigns that raise the bar for marketers seeking profitable returns on their investment dollars,” said Gattis. “While marketers see the promise of digital signage, most still lack the tools necessary to customize their onsite message immediately to influence purchase decisions. Our technology does exactly that. We work directly from customer data, utilizing data-driven analytics to create prioritized rules that can adapt and adjust customer campaigns in real time with messaging tailored to reflect current and local business conditions and priorities.”
Odysii’s solution is designed to allow marketers to deliver customized, targeted content in  realtime across thousands of digital screens now featured in stores, hotels, branches, and various locations worldwide. Unlike offerings that simply loop content over and over, its technology uses intricate algorithms and analytics to modify, update, and customize messages and visual materials according to a customer’s business strategy and objectives at both the global and local levels.
