Informational kiosks and digital signage video monitors have replaced previously laid-off employees at the Lancaster County administration building in downtown Lancaster, Penn.,according to LancasterOnline.com.
The touchscreen-enabled kiosks and video monitors were installed to provide wayfinding services for the new building and the location of county offices, as well as information on public meetings and announcements.
The nearly $84,000 project replaced the services of three part-time information desk employees who were among 19 county employees laid off after December budget cuts.
