CAMBRIDGE, England — Kiosk Europe Expo 2008 and digital signage Expo 2008 have announced a list of new exhibitors for both shows, including Epson, friendlyway, Hantarex, Hughes, JVC, Mitsubishi, Publicis, Sagem, Scala, Sharp, Sony, T-Systems and Verifone. Many major companies such as 3M, IBM, Panasonic and Wincor Nixdorf have also reconfirmed their participation in one of the world’s largest joint self-service and digital signage events.
Representatives from the two shows said they will offer 30 percent more exhibitors and 50 percent more exhibit space than last year’s event.
Each event will stage four major attractions: the exhibitions themselves; free-to-attend forums, where the focus will be on education and information; interactive workshop sessions with independent panels of experts; and two separate demonstration areas.
At Kiosk Europe Expo, the Futures Parlor will showcase new and innovative interactive technologies and solutions, while digital signage Expo will host the Content Centre, where visitors can view some of the latest developments in digital media, from advertising campaigns to best practices.
“Our aim has been to offer attendees a vibrant mix of ideas and developments through the combination of the interactive self-service and digital signage customer communication industries,” said Jens Schindler, managing director, hf media & events. “The popularity of the event so far demonstrates that others clearly share our view that these two industries complement each other perfectly. Together with our partners POPAI, we look forward to providing our visitors with a complete understanding of the potential such solutions can offer when combined at the POS.”
The events will be held on May 6-8, 2008, in Messe Essen, Essen, Germany. Admission is free for pre-registered visitors.
