Kinoton intros budget digital signage player

German display manufacturer Kinoton has unveiled its new KDS budget digital signage player.

The compact, all-in-one solution combines hardware and software and facilitates the management and scheduled playback of electronic advertising content, making the product ideal for small- and medium-sized companies, Kinoton says.

The plug-and-play KDS player negates the need for lengthy system integration, and the easy-to-use KDS software package already installed on the player offers flexibility in the design and animation of individual digital signage messages, according to the company.
In addition to the classic full-screen view, the screen can be divided into various segments displaying different content like videos, commercials, TV broadcasts, news feeds or presentations at the same time. With the variable layout templates included in the KDS software, even inexperienced first-time users can easily import, compile and play back lively and diversified digital messages, like program surveys, flight plans, bus schedules, self-explanatory product presentations with and without audio or target group-orientated in-store TV.

Kinoton will be displaying its new player, along with other products, next week at InfoComm in Las Vegas.
