Flyte Systems puts digital signage in Lockheed Martin, Oracle offices

Flyte Systems, a provider of airport travel information displays and digital signage content, has announced its real-time airline flight information displays (FIDS) are now being used by Oracle at its corporate headquarters in Redwood Shores, Calif., and by Lockheed Martin at its Bethesda, Md., training facility.
Oracle installed a FlyteBoard in the customer lounge of its Redwood Shores, Calif., corporate headquarters to display arrival and departure information for flights at nearby San Francisco International Airport. Oracle’s FlyteBoard monitor shows flight times, gate information and status for all domestic and international carriers.
Lockheed Martin is utilizing Flyte Systems’ FlyteBoard to display flights at Washington Dulles International, Baltimore Washington International and Ronald Regan International Airports. The company also installed a FlytePass kiosk that provides its visitors and traveling staff with boarding pass printing and real-time flight information for all three airports.

“As carriers trim their flight schedules, it is essential that travelers have accurate information to reach their destinations on time,” said Scott Triphahn, vice president of Flyte Systems.  “A missed flight can cause much longer delays than in the past.  Flyte Systems’ subscription-based airport information displays, boarding pass printing, and in-room television flight information offer easy-to-use options that guests, staff and visitors value.”
