CHICAGO — Flyte Systems announced it has partnered with digital signage solution provider Digital Minds Inc. to install FlyteBoard, a real-time airport travel information display screen, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention and Conference Center in Rosemont, Ill.
FlyteBoard, developed by Flyte Systems, is a wall, floor or ceiling mounted high-definition, flat panel screen that the Stephens Center installed in its lobby area to provide attendees with “glance-and-go” convenience for confident travel planning. FlyteSystems posts accurate real-time airline flight arrival and departure information, not FAA-regulated scheduled departure times that do not list delays caused by air traffic control, aircraft maintenance, crew availability and weather.
“The addition of Digital Minds’ TouchQuest FlyteBoard with real-time flight information enhances our visitors’ experience and ensures the Donald E. Stephens Convention and Conference Center is at the forefront of integrated technology in the industry,” said Stephens Center general manager Christopher R. Stephens.
FlyteBoard also provides a split-screen solution where a portion of the display can also be allocated for revenue-generating sponsorship opportunities.
“We are in a new age of digital communications in a world ruled by the clock,” said Joseph P. Fiduccia, president and CEO of Digital Minds. “I see strong demand for the FlyteBoard solution because travelers value a service that enables them to view real-time airport travel information and confirm the status of their flight prior to departure.”
