The 103-inch Portrait Landmark Digital Eyelite has a display area of 4.5 x 7.9 feet and is located at the entrance to the brand new Biza Duty Free store, aimed at T1’s departing audience.
“The large format digital platform at Manchester Airport provided a communication channel to deliver awareness of the dangers of drinking in-flight and then choosing to drive for your on-journey,” said Karen Delaney, communications manager of Drivesafe, EYE’s inaugural advertiser for this site. “The digital platform provided additional cut-through by using Flash animation to bring the campaign to life.”
“With the sharpest possible picture quality and running seven-second Flash content, this site is well suited for retail clients wanting to influence flyers at that important moment when they are excited, relaxed and looking to spend,” said Jeremy Corfield, chief executive of Eye Media Europe. “This new site is one of the many digital media offerings that EYE is pioneering to provide our business partners and clients with the most engaging and innovative airport media opportunities available.”
Refurbishment continues at Manchester Airport’s T1 as part of its £35 million redevelopment. EYE manages five airport advertising concessions in the United Kingdom – Manchester Airports Group (MAG – Manchester Airport, Nottingham East Midlands Airport and Humberside Airport) and Cardiff International Airport, as well as Belfast International Airport in Northern Ireland.
