MORGAN HILL, Calif. — New for SID 2009, Digital View has released the SVX-1920, a fully buffered, multisync interface controller providing true 10-bit support for large-format, high-definition TFT LCDs with up to a 1920×1200 resolution. Ten-bit support enables the display of over one billion colors on a compatible LCD panel.
The SVX-1920 is the latest in Digital View’s class of LCD controllers. Designed to comply with the strict standards of professional environments, the SVX-1920 supports the advanced capability needs of OEM manufacturers in the broadcast, medical, marine, military, avionics, industrial and digital signage markets.
In common with other Digital View controller products, the SVX-1920 has built-in, jumper-controlled, multipanel support and a wide range of inputs, including HDMI, DVI, VGA, S-Video and Composite, with HDCP support on the HDMI & DVI ports.
The SVX-1920 also offers a range of bolt-on options: the HD-3000 plug-in enables 3G HD-SDI input; the IE-1000 plug-in enables 120Hz support through a 10-bit adaptor for 4-channel LVDS panels; and the DisplayMark plug-in provides a compliance and reporting mechanism for monitoring video playout on LCD displays.
