MORGAN HILL, Calif. — Digital View announced support for the Samsung 70-inch LCD panel LT1700HD01-001 using the SVH-1920 controller. The Samsung 70-inch resolution is 1920 x 1080 and can display up to 16.7 million colors with a wide viewing angle of 89 or higher in all directions.
The panel is well matched with the Digital View SVH-1920 which provides physical inputs for DVI, VGA, S-Video and Composite Video, together with an optional HD-SDI interface. Video mode support is comprehensive. This array of inputs combined into a single controller provides a versatile solution for both new mainstream and legacy applications.
The SVH-1920 comes pre-programmed to support a wide range of panel models and resolutions that are selectable via switches. It supports panel resolutions from VGA (640 x 480 pixels) up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200), as well as panel formats of 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10. New panel timing and other features may be updated when needed via the controller’s serial port.
Other features of the SVH-1920 include built-in support for a wide range of industry standard VESA timing modes, plus support of legacy video modes such as Sync-On-Green and Composite Sync.
