ATLANTA — digital signage Expo (DSE), Interactive Technology Expo (ITE), and Out-of-Home Network Show (OOHNS) will present an escorted three-hour pre-show coach tour that will showcase live case study installations around Las Vegas. The tour will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 24, accompanied by brand spokespeople who will be on hand to answer questions and speak to the challenges they faced in concept, design and implementation, as well as provide insights into positive outcomes.
Tour stops will include Borders Bookstore at 6521 Las Vegas Blvd., South, which will highlight Borders new electronic retail centerpiece and the Hawaiian Tropic Zone at Planet Hollywood 3663 Las Vegas Blvd., South, which will feature a multi-screen, wall-sized array of new high definition displays.
The last stop will be the ESPN Zone at New York New York at 3790 Las Vegas Blvd., South, which will highlight applications throughout the facility, including new high definition displays and multi-channel networks, the “Freemont Street Experience.” The new installation features a round outdoor networked centerpiece display, and a new prototype outdoor bus enclosure featuring two large displays designed to be seen by passing cars and to be networked with similar installations throughout Las Vegas.
“The tour will give attendees a unique view not only of the technology at work, but they will be able to see first-hand how these different applications powerfully impact the business environment and how customers interact with them,” said Chris Gibbs, president of ExpoNation.
DSE’s three-hour Installation Tour will leave the Las Vegas Convention Center at 9:00 A.M. and return at 1 P.M. Admission to the tour is very limited. Tickets can be purchased as part of the registration process on line atwww.digitalsignageexpo.netfor $250 on a space available basis.
