digital signage Expo (DSE), an international tradeshow and conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home (DOOH) networks, announced today that it is now accepting speaker proposals for its 2011 educational conference.
The conference takes place February 23-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, and according to DSE editorial director Richard Lebovitz, the DSE educational services staff will evaluate each proposal for its insight, perspective, relevance, usefulness and timeliness.
“DSE strives to provide a unique forum for an audience of diverse industry professionals to discuss and exchange ideas free from commercial content,” Lebovitz said in a release from DSE. “Our attendees, who include 40 distinct end-user types from the U.S. and 59 foreign countries, are primarily interested in how to successfully deploy and manage a digital signage system within their particular venue or venues. We are therefore looking or thought-provoking topics that will help our attendees achieve those goals.”
The deadline to submit proposals for consideration is Friday, June 11, 2010. To download a copy of the speaker proposal form, gohere.
Speakers whose topics are selected will be required to submit final proposals and professional handouts in accordance with DSE guidelines on or before Jan. 7, 2011.
While there will be a number of unique exhibitor-led speaking opportunities, based on attendee feedback, DSE says first consideration for the 2011 conference program will be given to proposals from peer presenters willing to share their real-world digital signage experiences. Proposals should be submitted to conference director Brenda Keys at [email protected]
