Delphi earns quality management re-certification

Delphi Display Systems Inc., a provider of quick-service restaurant drive-thru performance optimization products, has been re-certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the most widely accepted international standard for quality management systems.

Certification to ISO standards is voluntary and organizations must complete a rigorous auditing process by a third-party registrar. QAS International conducted the audit of Delphi.

“Delphi Display Systems’ top management is totally involved and committed to the success of the business as well as the quality management system and is in the top 3 percent of the companies I’ve audited,” said Daniel Zehnle, lead auditor for QAS International.

ISO certifies businesses that adhere to standards that ensure continual performance improvements in pursuit of meeting regulatory requirements, customer requirements and customer satisfaction.

Delphi Display Systems designs and manufactures outdoor digital signage products for a variety of industries, including QSR, petroleum and retail. The company has installed more than 20,000 Order Confirmation Systems with brands such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Del Taco, Taco Bell, White Castle, KFC, Popeye’s, Krispy Kreme, Carl’s Jr., Starbucks, Jack in the Box, Bojangles and more.

“It is an honor to once again be recognized by ISO for our quality management systems,” said Ken Neeld, Delphi’s president and CEO. “We have recently implemented several product enhancements and operational changes to raise our quality standards to the highest level in the industry. Our ISO recertification is confirmation that our commitment to quality is recognized and further solidifies Delphi’s leadership position.”
