After an extensive six-month competitive testing process, Cosi Inc. has selected WAND Corp. to be the exclusive vendor for all of its digital menu board technology, according to a recent announcement from WAND. Cosi plans to install the WAND digital menu board system in all new and remodeled corporate restaurants and will encourage its franchisees to follow suit, the company said.
Cosi is a national premium convenience restaurant chain with 81 corporate sites and 59 franchise sites across 18 states, the District of Columbia and the United Arab Emirates.
“We see digital menu boards as a natural progression in the development of the Cosi brand,” said James Hyatt, CEO of Cosi, in the announcement. “The flexibility and efficiency of digital menu board technology will allow us to further enhance the guest experience.”
In regards to the recent decision, Hyatt said that he felt Cosi had “forged a true partnership” with WAND “because of WAND’s impressive creative content solutions, prompt turnaround times, many years of industry experience and the caliber of their clients.”
