BlueStar, a global specialty electronics distributor based in Hebron, Ky., and Blackroc Distribution, a solutions-based distributor of specialty AIDC and Wireless Mobility products based in Stafford, England, have signed an agreement, making Blackroc a BlueStar subsidiary.
The agreement will extend BlueStar’s presence in Europe offering a broader distribution solution for manufacturers and resellers in the region.
“Blackroc is a well-respected solutions distributor in mobility and RFID channels providing leading-edge innovations to the value-added reseller network in the United Kingdom,” Bill Nix, BlueStar’s vice president of global distribution, said in a press release. “Their focus on customer service and applications knowledge makes this transaction a natural fit with BlueStar’s solutions driven philosophy.”
