Arcaffé coffee chain achieves measurable sales impact with point-of-sale digital signage

Arcaffé, a chain of coffee shops with branches across Israel, has implemented YCD Multimedia’s digital marketing solution, AdScreen, throughout their branches. Positioned at the point-of-sale, where many customers make their purchasing decisions, the AdScreen displays promotions targeted to increase awareness and sales of the chain’s new prepared food product line and seasonal offerings.
YCD’s creative strategy team worked with Arcaffé to design the visual promotions to best achieve their objectives. Promotions are scheduled by day part promoting breakfast items in the morning and dynamically changing to lunch promotions in the afternoon. Using YCD|Platform for remote updating, the content is managed and scheduled from a single location and distributed throughout the chain while still allowing for customization at the store level to accommodate individual branch needs.
YCD’s solution includes real-time reporting, allowing branch managers to assess the impact of a campaign and dynamically make changes to optimize the sales results. Completing the audio visual experience is YCD’s custom music branding for Arcaffé, designed by a team of music experts to best complement the high-end brand.

Double digit increases in sales of promoted items have been observed with clients using YCD’s AdScreen at the point-of-sale, with customer recall as high as 30 percent, compared to five percent recall of most television advertising.
