CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Aerva, a provider of digital signage software, has partnered with DigiPub, a European digital signage network that brings branded content to digital billboards, to launch a network of mobile-interactive, high-definition, flat-panel displays throughout Ireland.
The campaign brings sponsored content to digital screens in bars across Dublin. Aerva’s digital signage and mobile-interactivity technologies enable bar patrons to interact with sponsored content — which includes sports trivia, live polls and contests — using their cell phones. The campaign increases the dwell time and return rate of bar and restaurant patrons, leading to greater revenue for bar owners.
“We are currently using Aerva’s software to launch campaigns with many leading companies in Ireland, including one of the largest telecommunications providers in Ireland and also Ireland’s major banking group,” said Trevor O’Rourke, CEO of DigiPub. “Aerva is the only digital signage software provider with the ability to manipulate a live television signal without degrading picture quality due to loss of framerate.”
“Aerva’s technology allows advertisers to integrate sponsored content alongside live television using SMS and MMS, providing viewership that greatly surpasses traditional advertising,” said Sanjay Manandhar, CEO of Aerva.
