ViewSonic Corp., a visual solutions provider, has launched ViewBoard 52 to provide teachers with a learning tool to help engage students, according to a company press release.
The ViewBoard 52 includes the Multimedia Sound Bar, providing audio to the classroom. Along with its user interface, teachers may access frequently used features within a control area, eliminating the need to move back and forth, according to the release. The sounds bar integrates with speakers and microphones, along with USB-C, HDMI, and USB touch ports.
“ViewSonic’s rate of growth in the interactive display market has been astounding and staying ahead of the curve. From 2017 to 2020, ViewSonic’s growth rate was up to 16 times above the industry average,” Monica Sun, director of the presentation group at ViewSonic said in the release. “The growth reflects ViewSonic’s dedication in meeting the needs of education applications.”
The ViewBoard 52 has an enhanced user interface with management tools. A control area, designed for a large screen, centralizes all applications and tools and allows teachers to define their frequently used functions. The interface also has side tool bars on both edges of the screen to call-up shortcut menus. With a long press on the screen, teachers may initiate the on-screen display menu.
Students can share screens from their phones or PCs through myViewBoard Display, a browser-based wireless presentation tool.
The ViewBoard 52 series comes in 65, 75, and 86 inches. It operates on Android 9.0 and is compatible with Windows, Mac, Chrome, and Linux operating systems.
